If a certain alcohol brand did come-backs this is probably what they would be like!

What a day! 2-0 down with 10 minutes left and rueing referee decisions Wigan Athletic turned things round and staged a phenomenal fight-back to defeat Arsenal and seal three precious points.

When Mikael Silvestre had headed home the Gunners' second minutes after Ben Watson had been denied a penalty all seemed lost, but Roberto Martinez's men
dug deep, kept the belief and produced one of the most incredible results in the club's history.

Ben Watson was first to get in on the act, working tirelessly all afternoon having earned a place in the starting line-up and putting his laces through the ball from 18-yards after the inspirational Victor Moses had created the opportunity on the left-wing.

Game on and all of a sudden Arsenal's comfort on the ball and control on the game seemed to wash away, it was the home side for whom the tide was turning.

Titus Bramble forced in an equaliser nine minutes later after Lukasz Fabianski had fumbled a Charles N'Zogbia corner. The big centre-half was on hand to poke home from a matter of yards.

Hold-on the crowd urged, don't let them back into the game, but when the fourth official indicated four additional minutes Latics players saw it as an opportunity to get another, not settle for one point.

It came in the form of N'Zogbia who had threatened to hurt the Gunners all afternoon and had come close earlier one-on-one with the keeper but unable to take the chance.

No such worries this time round however, picking the ball up on the edge of the area ghosting round the defence and curling a sweet left-footer into the back of the net - cue eruptions from the crowd!

To single out individual efforts would be wrong, this took each and every player showing the determination to survive in this league, and collectively produce one of the finest afternoon's Wigan Athletic has ever seen.

Get in there!
