Match Preview
Latics will be looking for a repeat of the result from back in April when Roberto Martinez's side defeated Manchester United for the first time with Shaun Maloney's strike secured a 1-0 victory on that memorable Wednesday night.
Latics are in buoyant mood after Saturday's 3-0 win at Villa Park, a result which has been coming following dominant performances against Arsenal and Everton over the festive period.
Manchester United are setting the pace in the chase for the Barclays Premier League title although this season they have been forced to come from behind many times, taking 24 of 46 points from games in which they've trailed.
