Increasing opportunities for young people and families to be involved with Wigan Athletic – from playing and coaching to watching and supporting
Every week Latics in the Community’s team of qualified football and sports coaches provide top quality training sessions for 100’s of young people in school and out of school.
From helping primary schools to deliver their PE lessons to running After School Club’s and football coaching for disabled young people the Community Trust provides football and sports opportunities for young people whatever their abilities.
Every school holiday it organising fun football courses for both boys and girls with costs ranging from £5 - £15 a day depending on the type of activity. [Click here] for more details.
As well as providing football coaching as part of the Premier League 4 Sport scheme the Latics in the Community scheme runs coaching sessions in badminton, volleyball, table tennis and basketball at 16 venues across Wigan.
