Providing meaningful sports opportunities for young people to enhance their communities

Every night of the week coaches from Latics in the Community are working across Wigan to provide constructive sports activities for young people.
Working in partnership with organisations such as the Premier League, Wigan and Leigh Housing, Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, Greater Manchester Police and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, the Community Trust aims to provide sporting opportunities for young people between the ages of 12 – 19 in their own communities.
Projects such as Kickz based at Hag Fold in Atherton have helped 100’s of young people take part in football training and gain sports qualifications, while helping to reduce ant-social behaviour in the area – for more information on the Kickz project please click here:
